IMPORTANT: If the game doesn't start and tries to download a .run file, delete this version and download a new one from the homepage.

The GNU/Linux version is new and we need your help to test it on your system and report anything that work or don't work.

Drop a message with the distribution name and version and explain what works and don't work.

I compiled it on an Ubuntu 7.10 so it should run cleanly on this distrib.

On this version, there's no full screen mode.

How to install the game on GNU/Linux

- Download the game
- Double click on the downloaded file to open the archive
- Drap & drop the Mtp Target directory to your desktop
- Open the Mtp Target directory that is on your desktop
- Double click on the icon start-mtp-target

I've submitted a packaging report to getdeb.net, so I'll try it out as soon as they get the package done. (I don't really like compiling, because then you have to keep track of your programs.. whereas with .debs you don't really).

you don't need to compile anything since the package you download here is a binary, just download and run the game!

Could you provide the compilable sources though? I like it when the games are stored in Applications - Games. Then I can access them quickly, and don't have to worry about remembering where did I put the game :/

I did, but it's just a link to the sourceforge project page. And there there are no downloads avialable and firefox doesn't recognize the svn protocol :/

Yeah, there is something wrong. I tried registering for an account, then tried logging in - said username not found. Tried retrieving the password, same thing (I registered with the name "Vadi"). But now when I start it, it shows the window and crashes right away.

The crash is due to FMOD, the sound system (reboot linux or finding what is using the sound already). I'll fix it on the next version.

You try to login with "Vadi" but your login is "vadi", yes it's case sensitive, as on linux. try to login with the real info you used to register.

I've launched start-mtp-target but i've a crash.

I'm on Mandriva 2008.0 (32bits), Sempron 3000+ (32 bits) with 1Gb RAM and ATI Radeon 7000/VE (32Mo). Drivers used is "ATI Radeon 9250 and earlier". 3D Desktop effects are not active.
Perhaps my graphics card is not powerfull enough ?
I've closed sound applications before starting "start-mtp-target" (Exaile).
